Martial Cottle Park

Martial Cottle Park is a recent creation from 287 acres of former farmland. Its new facilities and landscape are intended to educate and highlight the Santa Clara Valley’s agricultural history. Both new and old buildings adapted to the site are designed to take advantage of the sweeping views, exhibit sustainable strategies, and reinforce the history of the properties as farmland dating back to the 1850s. Current farming functions have been maintained, fruit orchards reintroduced, and sites for picnics, teaching, trails, and other passive activities newly integrated.
